Shelby Gabrielson Signs with NCU Golf

EUGENE, Ore. – The Northwest Christian University women’s golf program announces the signing of Shelby Gabrielson for the 2009-2010 season.
Gabrielson has played all four years at Central Valley HS in Shasta Lake, Calif. She was the team MVP for three seasons and qualified as a sophomore for sectionals. Director of Golf Tony Joyner said, “Shelby is a great student of the game and has great potential. She is a long ball hitter and practices hard on her game in order to improve. Shelby will help our golf team reach the next level of competition and will help us accomplish our team goals next year.”
The NCU women’s golf team will begin their third season of competition in September. Northwest Christian University is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
