Howard, Arch Set for NAIA Debut

Senior Bethany Howard and Sophomore Brittany Arch will become the first NCU athletes to ever compete at the NAIA Track & Field National Championships, which begin today and run through Saturday in Marian, Indiana.. Live Video Streaming of the Events will be available.

Howard, the NCU Female Champion of Character Award winner for 2010, qualified for the NAIA championships in both the 5000m and 10000m events, and will run exclusively in the 10,000m event, taking place tonight at 5:30 pm local time. 

Arch, who qualified in both the 1,500m and 5,000m runs, will run in the 5,000m event, with the preliminary round taking place on Friday at 3:15 pm local time. 

The events will be broadcast live via an internet stream, available through the NAIA website. For Howard's 10,000m race on Thursday evening, the event will stream from "camera one", which can be accessed HERE. Friday's distance track events are anticipated to use the same stream.
