EUGENE, Ore. – It’s quite an impressive way to make a splash in your first week of collegiate competition. Freshman Setter
Cori Wallace was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference setter of the week on Monday, after a solid first weekend in which she led the Beacons to their first win of the year.
Wallace posted 90 assists in four matches at the Lewis-Clark State Tournament in Lewiston. Wallace had a season-high 31 assists in the Beacons’ 3-1 non-conference victory over Warner Pacific. That 31 tied the NCU single-match record. Wallace also had 46 digs in the tournament to lead the Beacons.
Northwest Christian will be back in action on Wednesday as they travel to face Linfield College at 7:00 pm.
